This mod improves the speed of creating pages in Journals, cutting down the overhead of clicks and UI interactions needed in V10.

• Fix the numbering of the left page sidebar to always start from 1, not 0.
• Fix CSS issue when editing pages where the checkbox is pushed on a second row, causing wider margin between title and content.

• [Global Option, off by default] Create Default Text Page: When a Journal is created, automatically create a text page in it. The default page inherits the name of the journal. This cuts down the need to create a page in a journal document after its creation.
• Change the Add Page button (in the left sidebar at the bottom) from a single button to a panel of four buttons for each type of content, similar UI to the button panel of the mod Dice Tray (see image below). The buttons will have icons for Text, Image, PDF and Video. This removes the need to select from the dropdown the type of document, which saves two mouse clicks.

  • Clicking on a button automatically adds a page with the required type, with a default name.

  • [Global Option, off by default] Silent Page Creation: when a page is created, skip opening the dialog for editing that page, just create it within the journal.

• Global Options, on by default: For each document type, an option to not display a button to create a page of that type using the new button panel shown above. On by default, all of them. As a user, I would turn off PDF and Video since I never use them.
• Global Option, off by default] Content Type Pin icons: When creating a Pin dragging a page from a Journal on the canvas, use the content type icon (see the icons used for the button panel) for the pin rather than the default one. Test compatibility with Automatic Journal Icon Numbers.

Content Listener for Journals

• Pasting content while focused on a Journal.
  • If the pasted content is text, create a page (last index) with the contents of the pasted text.
  • If the pasted content is an image, upload this image, and create a page (last index) with the Image Source page

Improvements to Image Pages

• Support for CTRL+V paste of images. The image is saved locally in a directory and the link to the image is then added to the Image Source URL field of the image page.
  • In Settings, an option to set the directory where pasted images are stored.
• Anytime the contents of the Image Source URL are updated, attempt to view the updated image in the content area above. Right now the area only shows the image that was set for the image page before the page was opened for editing, and never updates until it is closed and saved.
